Thor Ice Chilling Solutions, supplier of unique cooling solutions for food processing, is delighted to announce that it received a 2 million EUR Fast Track to Innovation (FTI) grant from the European Commission, part of its largest research and innovation programme Horizon 2020.
The grant is part of the Enhanced European Innovation Council pilot which provides funding for breakthrough, market-creating innovations across the European Union. It specifically funds innovations that have “potential to revolutionise existing or create entirely new markets”.
The grant is in high demand and receives a large number of applications each year. The application process is extensive and highly competitive, with applications being evaluated by a panel of external experts.
