In early November, Nefco – The Nordic Green Bank organised the COP26 side event “Demystifying the EU Taxonomy for Nordic SMEs” to discuss best practices and guidelines for companies seeking growth financing. The event, organised in cooperation with Green by Iceland and Business Sweden, discussed the EU taxonomy, what it means, how SMEs can integrate the taxonomy mindset in their operations and how understanding taxonomy alignment is important when seeking financing. 

Thor Ice Chilling Solutions was presented by CEO Thorsteinn I. Viglundsson, followed by engaging discussions with expert panelists. The event moderator was Ms. Josefin Hoviniemi, Head of Communications at Nefco, and expert panelists included Mirka Lummaa, Senior Advisor at Gaia Consulting, Mikko Eloranta, Head of Sustainable Finance Nordic at Danske Bank, Agusta Thorbergsdottir, Managing Director at Navigo, and Soren Berg Rasmussen, Investment Manager at Nefco.
