Considering its work in the fresh food industry, Thor Ice Chilling Solutions is listed as offering a promising sustainable food technology. The company patented IceGun® technology was developed to deliver significant improvement in cooling during processing of fresh foods, in order to eliminate harmful bacteria and secure longer shelf life. The method is eco-friendly, with no use of chemicals or pharmaceuticals. It meets a strong demand for effective cooling solutions in the poultry industry and is currently being used to solve serious cooling challenges in poultry processing.
